19 December 2024
The Moscow Committee for Pricing Policy in Construction and State Project Expertise has approved the design of a new 430-seat school with an IT campus in the Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad residential complex. The school will be part of the Educational Complex No. 1502 “Energia,” which consistently ranks among the top schools in Moscow and holds leading positions in the RAEX national rankings. The school will consist of two separate buildings with independent entrances. Primary school students will study in a spacious two-story building, while senior students will attend a four-story building. Each group will have individually designed lobby areas with soft seating, as well as spacious cloakrooms. For safety, both buildings will be equipped with security posts and electronic access control systems.
The ground floor will also feature shared school facilities, including a gymnasium and a multi-purpose sports hall, an assembly hall for events and performances, a cafeteria, and a medical office.
The primary school building will include modern, flexible classrooms designed not only for learning but also for relaxation and play during breaks. Students will also have access to a media library for educational video sessions.
The senior school building will feature general classrooms and specialized learning spaces, including a laboratory-based IT campus, as well as staff lounges and an administrative block with a coworking space for teachers. Pre-professional classrooms equipped with modeling and prototyping zones will allow students to explore various career paths and make informed choices about their future.
The landscaped school courtyard, designed in continuity with the residential complex’s environment, will include sports grounds and recreational areas for both students and teachers.
The new school will become part of Educational Cluster No. 1502 “Energia,” which ranked sixth in Russia in 2024 (RAEX) by the number of graduates admitted to top universities.
“In the Eastern Administrative District, where the premium residential complex Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad is located, optimal conditions for high-quality education have already been established. The district leads Moscow in the number of specialized schools with advanced curricula. Our new School No. 1502, with a focus on IT, will further strengthen this educational reputation. Students will have the opportunity to study computer science, programming, and related disciplines at an advanced level, while being part of one of Moscow’s leading educational clusters ensures access to highly qualified teachers and a proven academic methodology,” said Lilia Artsibasheeva, Commercial Director of Regions Development.
The first phase of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad includes 735 apartments ranging from 43 to 120 sq. m, along with parking for 354 vehicles. Sales for the second phase are currently underway: six buildings with 1,291 apartments of up to 154 sq. m and parking for 669 vehicles.
A pedestrian boulevard will be created between the buildings of the second phase, designed as a leisure space for residents—from family dining and social gatherings to sports and creative activities. It will feature cafés, restaurants, fitness studios, creative workshops, retail outlets, and service amenities.
The Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad complex is distinguished by its moderate-density, mid-rise development, high ceilings (up to 4 meters), and clean contemporary architecture. It is located just a three-minute walk from the metro station and an eight-minute drive from the Garden Ring. Residents will enjoy a private landscaped courtyard spanning 2.5 hectares—an uncommon feature for premium residential projects in Moscow. The complex is surrounded by major parks, including Sokolniki, VDNH, Izmailovsky, Losiny Ostrov, Cherkizovsky, and Yauza.
