Landscaping completed at the Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad residential complex
5 November 2024
The core idea behind the courtyard landscaping concept is to create a multifunctional space where residents can relax, exercise, and socialize with their neighbors. Regions Development’s approach to landscape design is based on thoughtful zoning of the territory to balance active and quiet lifestyles, ensuring that every resident can find their own leisure scenario. The territory of the complex is designed in a contemporary urban style, with particular emphasis on greenery. The courtyard is planted with spruce, pine, and linden trees, as well as lilac, barberry, bird cherry, and juniper. Along the paths, lighting and benches have been installed.
In the square in front of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad, Regions Development has created recreational areas. Lawns with hard‑wearing turf allow for neighborhood gatherings, playing with children, and outdoor workouts. Children’s playgrounds are located next to a natural slope with slides, ladders, and climbing nets, offering a variety of play scenarios. The area will also include sports zones for teenagers and adults, walking routes, an orchard, and swings.
The focal point of community life will be a hill surrounded by mature trees and benches, providing a venue for neighborhood events and a place for residents to relax every day. A pergola will be installed in the courtyard to provide shade and shelter from the elements. All equipment and materials are in harmony with the aesthetic of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad and meet high quality standards.
“The landscaped area of the first phase of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad covers 1.5 hectares — such an extensive territory is a rarity for residential projects in Moscow. We have designed a functional, all‑season space that takes into account the needs of residents at different stages of life — adults, young people, and children of all ages will find activities here at any time of year. Every zone, whether an active play area, a lawn, or a cozy corner for quiet relaxation, has been carefully planned with different resident groups in mind. The landscaping concept combines functionality with strong visual appeal. Our goal was to create a unique space that brings together natural elements and contemporary design, while supporting the architectural concept of the complex itself,” said Lilia Artsibasheeva, Commercial Director of Regions Development Group.
The first phase of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad includes 735 apartments ranging from 43 to 120 sq. m, with parking for 354 cars. Construction of the first phase will be completed in 2024. Sales for the second phase are already underway; six mid‑rise buildings will offer 1,291 apartments of up to 154 sq. m and parking for 669 vehicles.
For children, the complex will feature an innovative school for 430 students with an IT campus, part of Educational Complex No. 1502, which is ranked the best in Moscow and among the top 10 schools in Russia. The educational cluster will also include a kindergarten for 200 children.
The premium Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad residential complex benefits from excellent transport links, allowing residents to easily reach the city center both by metro and by car, as well as quickly and comfortably get out into nature. There are no polluting industrial facilities nearby, while six major parks are located within easy reach: Sokolniki, VDNH, Izmailovsky, Losiny Ostrov, Cherkizovsky, and Yauza. The neighborhood offers a well‑developed infrastructure that includes schools and universities, kindergartens, clinics, shops, sports clubs, and activity centers.
