Landscaping works near completion at the premium Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad residential complex

At Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad, located at 12/11 1st Bukhvostova Street, Regions Development is implementing a landscaping concept created by the GAFA architectural bureau. The concept focuses on creating a welcoming environment for relaxation, sports, play, and socializing. The territory of the complex includes a private 1.5‑hectare courtyard and a landscaped square with lawns for sports and family activities, with a tree‑covered hill becoming the central point of community life.

“Landscaping in a residential complex serves not only an aesthetic purpose: a well‑designed outdoor space directly affects quality of life. Research shows that green areas and well‑equipped courtyards in residential developments contribute to better physical health and a more positive emotional state,” notes Lilia Artsibasheeva, Commercial Director of Regions Development. “Equally important is the social function of such spaces: the shared courtyard becomes a social hub that stimulates communication between residents, strengthens their sense of belonging to the community, and reduces feelings of isolation.”

According to studies published in GeoJournal, contact with nature helps reduce stress, improve concentration, and enhance overall well‑being. People living near parks and green spaces are generally more satisfied with their lives and experience lower levels of psychological strain. Research in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health also shows that children living in homes with well‑equipped courtyards spend more time outdoors, which positively impacts their physical development and social adaptation. They play more, interact with peers more actively, and feel happier overall.

Currently, pedestrian paths are being laid on the grounds of the complex, and spruce, pine, linden, and lilac trees are being planted, along with barberry, bird cherry, and juniper shrubs. Streetlights and benches will be installed to ensure comfortable movement around the courtyard and pleasant resting areas for residents and visitors.

The core idea behind the landscaping concept is multifunctionality, achieved through a variety of different zones. In the square in front of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad, lawns with durable turf resistant to heavy use have been created, where residents can have picnics, play with children, and exercise. Children’s playgrounds will be located next to a natural slope, equipped with slides, ladders, and climbing nets, giving kids diverse play scenarios. There will also be sports areas for older children and adults, walking routes, an orchard, and swings.

Creating a comfortable, vibrant, and healthy living environment is a priority for Regions Development, and this approach has been fully applied in the design of Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad. Thanks to careful planning and attention to detail, the project provides all the conditions necessary for a high quality of life for its residents.

The first phase of the premium Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad complex includes 735 apartments ranging from 43 to 120 sq. m. The project benefits from a convenient location (a three‑minute walk to Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad metro station and an eight‑minute drive to the Garden Ring), low‑density mid‑rise development (from 6 to 17 storeys), high ceilings (up to 3.5 m), and clean contemporary architecture. The façades are finished with dark clinker brick accented by elegant ivory‑colored inserts used to clad the cornices.

An underground parking garage for 354 cars is provided. The ground floors will house everything residents need for everyday convenience: minimarkets, restaurants, cafés, service providers, and a beauty salon.

The complex also includes an innovative school with an IT campus for 430 students, part of Educational Complex School No. 1502, one of the top schools in Moscow and Russia according to rankings, as well as a kindergarten designed for 200 children.
